Do I need Apple Music?

Yes — Music Sync plays through your Apple Music subscription so everyone in the room hears full tracks, not previews. A free trial works too.

Does the other person need it too?

Yes — everyone in the room needs the app installed and signed in to Apple Music. The point is shared listening, so everyone has to be in the same room.

Does it work across networks?

Yes. The room state lives on our servers, so people on different WiFi or cellular all stay in sync to the millisecond. Drift is corrected automatically.

What's a Music Match score?

A 0–100 score showing how aligned your music tastes are. We compare the artists and songs each person has added, weight them, and surface the overlap. It grows the more you play together.

Can I delete a room?

Yes — the host can delete any room they created, which removes all chat, voice notes, dedications, and history permanently.
